Funny Wonder Woman

A while back, an associate of mine, Christine, wanted me to paint her, as Wonder Woman. I was more into other types of art at the moment, comics, and so on, and soon I had a graphics tablet on hand. So- out with the oil painting- for the moment, and in with this. It is strange- I thought that I'd color some hand Inked art, but this other type of stuff has more immediate 'eye appeal', I guess. (Good inking is an acquired taste, I think) I thought a couple of things could go together, airbrush style, caricature, and digital art. This is done, in Photoshop elements 3, on top of an scanned ink drawing. So, this is like a hand done digital piece. I physically had to make all of the shadows and highlights with the graphics pen. I brought back some of my mechanical airbrush skills. It has an element of Chibi, in it, too, but it is not a 'true chibi'. I thought maybe I could make it look like a photo of a toy/caricature, maybe, but that didn't work well. Comments welcome. Also, I did this partly to see if I could do it- check my gallery for other styles, materials, and techniques.
